About The Early Careers Program

Aurizn’s Early Careers Program presents you with a fantastic opportunity to earn and learn through an exciting pathway that can help you launch your career. 

Our intern to graduate pathways program consists of three stages: 

12 Week Initial Internship

Our full-time, 12-week paid intake program will see you benefit from working with our industry experts on high-impact, purpose-led projects. Work together with your pathways program cohort to develop essential technical and career skills.

Customise Your Final Year Studies and Work. 

Stage two is to custom build Aurizn based work that fits in around your final year of undergraduate study. This will accelerate your development into the third stage of your Aurizn early careers program pathway.

From Student to Career Professional

At the successful completion of your studies, stay on the acceleration pathway at Aurizn as a graduate software engineer or data scientist and enjoy all benefits of Aurizn’s great culture perks and benefits.

How Do I Apply?

Applications are invited from students studying in the fields of Software Engineering, and those studying Data Science.

The Recruitment Process

  1. An initial review of your application. 
  2. Screening process to shortlist 
  3. Shortlisted candidates invited to Assessment Centre. 
  4. Candidates offer first round 
  5. Candidate offers second round   

At the assessment, Aurizn will consider your level of engagement, communication skills and how you interact in a group setting. Be yourself and let your personality shine through.

Dates To Remember

Assessment Centre: September 17th (3 hours, morning) and September 19th (3 hours, afternoon)

FAQ

When does the program start? 

Stage one of the program commences 25th November 2024. Have plans for the festive season? You won't be required to work close of business December 24th with the office opening back up on the 2nd of January 2025. You will also get to enjoy an additional day as flexi leave to use for a summer day during the first 12 weeks.

How long does the early careers program go for? 

The Aurizn early careers pathway program is intended to accelerate you from student life to a fast track into your  professional career from penultimate year, up to 3-5 years.

Can this become a permanent opportunity? 

Yes! Our aim is to offer a tailored earn and learn pathway where your future colleagues join at the same time so that you can build your network, form friendships, accelerate your technical career development and your professional skills in Aurizn’s fantastic culture.

Will I be focusing on a particular area? 

One benefit of Aurizn’s early career pathway program is that we will support development of your primary technical fields and also expose you to the broader opportunities and disciplines that a career at Aurizn has to offer.

How many people will be chosen? 

Aurizn’s early career pathway program is deliberately designed for small numbers, so we can highly tailor an earn and learn pathway for each individual. We know this means we will be undertaking a competitive process, but we encourage you to put your best foot forward and have a go.

Who can apply?

If you are currently in your penultimate year of undergraduate study in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or Software Engineering, we would love to receive your application. You must be an Australian Citizen to qualify for the Program.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Yes! This is an opportunity to earn whilst you’re learning.
