At its core, the capability ensures Defence air, land and maritime platforms can share the Common Operation Picture at the same time. This shared awareness is essential for flying safely, coordinating missions, and operating effectively alongside our allies.
Aurizn’s role is to keep this capability running reliably. The company provides ongoing technical support, maintenance, training and engineering services, ensuring Defence personnel can depend on the system whenever it is needed - whether during routine operations or large-scale exercises such as Pitch Black and Talisman Sabre.
Rebecca Humble, Chief Executive Officer, Aurizn, said the extension reflects the strength of the company’s delivery and the importance of having trusted Australian industry supporting essential Defence systems.
“This contract extension recognises the consistent delivery, deep expertise and mission-first mindset our team brings to a capability the ADF relies on every day,” said Ms Humble.
“As an Australian sovereign defence company, Aurizn’s role is to provide assured, in-country support for critical operational systems and to make sure they keep pace with how Defence operates today and into the future.
“That means staying at the forefront of how information is shared across the force, so Defence can rely on these systems to work, every time they are needed,” said Ms Humble.
Aurizn’s support team is based across multiple Defence locations around Australia, enabling them to respond quickly and work closely with Defence personnel on the ground.
